Brass

Brass is a metal alloy composed primarily of copper and zinc. Its high malleability and workability makes it very suitable for machining. It can easily be formed into desired shapes while retaining its high strength. Brass is also commonly used for decorative purposes primarily because of its resemblance to gold.

Aside from its aesthetic qualities, brass is a good heat and electrical conductor. It is also resistant to spark, non-magnetic and is considered a low-friction alloy which is an ideal material to use in locks, valves, timepieces and other products with moving parts.

HTMI started as one of the first importers of Brass tubes in the Philippines in 1969. Through the years, HTMI has gradually increased its roster of Brass products including sheets, bars and pipes.
