Copper

Known for its lustrous red color, copper is a ductile and malleable metal that is valued for its high thermal and electrical conductivity. It is the second-most electrically conductive metal next to silver. Due to its excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, copper is most often used in power generation and transmission such as wires, transformers, electrical circuitry and other electrical components.

HTMI offers a wide range of copper products for your electrical needs, including vast sizes of copper busbars, both bare and tin-plated, and also copper grounding rods.

Copper Sheets are used in numerous applications that involve heat transfer and thermal management. They are often used in submerged marine applications where the inherent antimicrobial characteristics of copper keep bacteria and other organisms from attaching to its surface underwater.

Tinned Copper Flat Bar, also known as Tin-plated Copper Busbar, is copper busbar coated with a thin layer of tin. The tin coating protects the copper against atmospheric corrosion or oxidation and discoloration, thus giving the busbar a longer life. Tinned copper busbars also resist humidity and high temperatures better than bare copper bars.
